The undisputed sign that spring is on the way are cute little Crocuses that often poke up through the snow. Ours appeared in early Feb. this year during a warm spell (actually the whole winter was a warm spell). Native to Europe, they come in about 30 varieties although all we have are white, yellow and violet.
